Privacy Policy

How Bharat Driver Association handles member information and documents.

Information we collect

Registration and support may require a name, photograph, contact and address details, driver and vehicle information, date of birth, identity or driving-licence details, payment references, order details and documents submitted for verification or correction.

How information is used

Information is used for membership registration and review, member verification, ID-card creation, payment verification, renewal, orders and kit fulfilment, receipts, corrections, notifications, fraud prevention and member support.

Public QR verification

A public verification page may show the approved member profile, including the photo, name, BDA ID, registered mobile number, driving-licence number, driver details, location, membership status and validity. Aadhaar details, full street address, WhatsApp number, home phone, Portal PIN, payment proof, uploaded private documents and internal notes are not displayed publicly.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared only where reasonably required with authorised BDA personnel, payment or delivery service providers, or lawful authorities. External providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Security

BDA uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to reduce unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention

Records are retained only as reasonably needed for membership administration, accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal obligations, after which they may be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

Correction requests

Members may use the Driver Portal correction process or contact BDA support to request review of inaccurate information. Identity or membership details may be requested before a change is made.

Contact and grievance

For a privacy question, correction or grievance, contact Bharat Driver Association through the website contact page or the published office numbers. Include the BDA ID and registered mobile number, but do not send a PIN or password.
